http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451984 has a video and photos I made with the Sigma 8-16mm lens (the front element and overall lens survived countless bugs splatters, slight rain and moisture like a champ... even though it wasn't made for that).

Minimal distortion... no fisheyeing effects and straight lines stay straight... it's a rectilinear lens.

For example, that video was shot at 8mm, and no distortion correction was done on that.
