Goodbye 18s...Welcome 19s!
I originally got my car with the 18" OEM wheels, I hated them before even ordering the car, but I figured that I could live without for the winter months and those few track days that I do. However, eventually it got to me; I couldn't stand the 18s, I actually didnt go to a few track days because I hated switching the wheels to the ugly 18s, I also hated winter even more because I was not content with how my car looked for those 4-5 months of driving on the 18s during the winter. IMO, the M3 should have come standard with the 19s because it actually looks better on every color. But this is all personal preference. I traded with another member a couple weeks ago, but I just installed them and I took a few quick pics of my car yesterday and today and I love the new set up.
Bring on the winter & the track days By the way, I am running a 10mm spacer in the back and I am waiting for the 15mm spacer for the front (should be here early next week)

Are you surviving fine with 19s, Vors Lip, spacers and dropped on H&R during winter time?
I am considering to remove my springs for the winter just so that I don't have to worry about scraping, etc. |

No im on stock springs, but im contemplating eibachs in the spring, wouldnt mind 1" drop in the front and 0.5" in the back... the problem is I live and work downtown and do most of my driving south of bloor, between bathurst and the dvp where the roads are utter s--t, worse than some 3rd world countries. With stock suspension and 19s I sometimes feel like the hardtop roof is going to be shaken and rattled into pieces... its not even that the ride bothers me comfort wise, im literally afraid the car is going to fall apart. I hear the eibachs are very progressive and small bumps are no worse than with stock springs, but its the roads down here that I'm afraid will be constantly bottoming out my car damn toronto and the worst roads in the world, people always use the excuse that it's our harsh winters that destroy our roads, how is it though that Chicago's downtown core is perfectly paved and their winters are worse than ours |

I personally think it looks horrible on all colors, but its not as bad on E90 and E92 M3s in AW. For some reason, the E93 needs bigger wheels IMO

nice... I love my 19s as well, in fact more than any of the current aftermarket wheels I've seen yet on the E9x ///M. But I'm on 18s for the winter.... Although still running PS2s, haven't decided what kind of winter tire to buy yet.
Can't wait to get my 19s back on in spring though

LOL. I'm kind of in the same boat. I ordered my car with the 19s, thinking I might be putting a BBK on at some stage. Then, I figured 18s would be a great idea for the track, so I bought a set of OEM 18s....
Then, I saw HRE P43s, and thought "hell, those would be nice on the street", so I bought 'em. I am right there with ya..... I LOATHED going to track days with the 18s. If I could have stored the 18s at the track, and switched over before and after the track sessions, that would have been OK (JUST OK.... ). I am now at the stage where I'm thinking - hell, the 19s are probably slightly stronger, and not much heavier than the 18s - why not just use them for the track? They look better, IMHO. Got this 19" set up with about 70 miles on them sitting in my garage. Next summer, they are going on for track days - hell, I might even just use them all the time

Haha sounds like we are on the EXACT same page, I keep my tires at my tire guys shop. I was supposed to go to a track day on a monday (which meant switching to my 18s on either Friday or Saturday). I cancelled the truck day and went the next month when the track day was on a Thursday (so I put on the 18s on Wednesday). Whats worse is, I actually leave the track a bit early to ensure that I get home in time to put my 20's back on. hahah By the way, I believe the 19s are lighter then the 18s.

Nice car
Just a suggestion, black 19 OEM will match more with the colors
