Re: "over-driving," I'm not sure where the line is between over-driving versus just trying to push the car harder. When you're trying to run at a pace with cars that have $ thrown into it (i.e. say, aero, S/C, wide open exhaust, tune, stripped/light, etc, or cars that are inherently just a better track cars, like GT3's and GT-R's) with a car that doesn't have those things, you're gonna invariably find yourself in lots of oh-sh*t-moments.

Besides, when there are no over-steer moments, perhaps the driver is not driving hard enough? Or, on MDM/PASM.

IMO, a good driver knows how to overdrive the car.

Your tires look like they were overheated which would explain the cracks and chunking. The more pics you post, the more obvious it is.
