Looking for a good driving road in SF Bay area......
Hello fellow M3 lovers! I've got 682 miles on my M3 so far and I'm looking for a nice long, winding stretch of road to burn some mileage on, and have some fun at the same time. I'm looking for a place where I can just relax and enjoy the view, the wind in my face, and sound of the phenomenal V8 in the front. Any ideas? Please try to stick to places within 100 miles of the SF Bay area hehe.

yep, skyline blvd is pretty good for the twisties.. but you need to watch out for cyclists if you go during daylight. HW 17 is also fun towards Santa Cruz.
Hopefully, the rain will let up a bit over the weekend. |

Search in the California local for more. Here are some:

not only skyline but the way up to pescadero pass skyline is amazing. Skyline on the weekends is crowded with bikers and bicyclists. Go up el monte head west and let it take you all the way to the coast line. Its an amazing drive!

Definitely a big 2nd (or 3rd or whatever) for highway 9 from Saratoga to Santa Cruz. 120 from the Yosemite area over to 395 is very nice as well, albeit a bit further away. Heck I am from So Cal. and I know these!

Thanks for all your input everyone, it's the weekend and no dark clouds in sight! I think I'll check out skyline blvd, sounds like a nice afternoon drive. I'll leave the top on though, in case it rains again haha.

My favorite is Grizzly Peak Blvd in Berkeley for some serious twisty action. The views are phenomenal and the M3 will hug the corners like nobody's business (especially if you tighten the suspension all the way). Actually all those roads that interconnect up there are awesome.
