I will PM this note to Jason as well so you don't have to.
What is strange is that he was very enthusiastic about the bet, even increased the bid, and he was the one to put it in writing. Why do all that if you're not serious about it? If he doesn't come through, I don't know that he'll have any credibility left on this board.

From experience, I can tell you that one way to get free floormats out of a BMW dealer is to make them think your are not ENTIRELY satisfied. They really want those 5s in their customer review, and BMW takes that stuff very seriously.

In all fairness, I'd like to think I deserved my free mats since the guy screwed up my order and it took 6 extra weeks for the car to show up.

My dealer actually gives free floormats with each purchase, so we got a set with the 328, 335 and the future M3. I was kidding about the bet that many of us wanted to make regarding the pricing.

That's nice. My dealer in CA did not.

So, floormats are not automatic? I think they should throw those in.

The dealer in CA I bought my 325ci from told me floormats do not officially come with the car.

$52k? Gonna need more than that if you are planning on paying outright.

Westwest did respond to my most recent PM. He wants to suggest another 3rd party.

Pricing of the e90

Does anyone know whether the OP's estimated price would apply to the M3 sedan, also? Or might it be a hair lower for the sedan?

well the sedan is roughly 2,000 euro cheaper, so expect it to be about the same in dollars. this is all just speculation, though...
