Why electronically limit the top speed of a car that has all sorts of engineering in it that is intended to improve track performance?

Koni special active red, eibach pro-kit springs, Remus exhaust, stage 3 intake manifold,Stage 2 AA tune, BMW Short shift kit. Silicon intake pipe. M3 control arms front, M3 rear. ECS trailing arm with whiteline bushings. Purple powerflex subframe bushings. Yellow power flex upper shock mounts. Single mass flywheel OE weight. |

420.123PS = 414.376bhp
PS is the European standard but bhp is used in the UK, so not sure where HP came from! Santorini would definitely be my first choice!

What i dont get is they still have NOT included the Performance Exhaust as a part of all this "limited edition" stuff. Lame.

wow.... 25 mpg???
it's 16mpg for on a normal day... 12-13mpg on the more "not"-normal days....and this on a 6MT.... i think the best i've hear is 20mpg on here.... is there something about the limited edition? PS....love that blue!!!!

Are you surprised? Guessing they'll do one more somewhat less special edition for the US before they end its life.

Maybe that's exactly why BMWNA currently doesn't have any plans for limited/special editions for North America. Does any one have numbers comparing US sales vs. other regions of the M3? I could see these limited editions as a marketing scheme to get more sales or help familiarize other regions with the ///M brand.

I'd buy one.
