also make sure you're preloading the rear properly as well.

How do you preload the rear on these coils? The V3 shocks themselves don’t have any height adjustment collar.

hm honestly, speaking after looking at your pic of the rear pearch, it does look like your spring is up side down, also do you have zcp / edc shocks prior to the KWs? the rear shock mount on zcp/edc shocks are 2mm taller than non edc.

My car had EDC prior to this but I got all necessary non-EDC mounts needed for these coils as they were for non-EDC cars.

I noticed from your pic that the spring pad on the bottom is still on. try taking those out. I was running into a similar issue with the rears sitting high cranked up to the max. somehow I was able to get an inch of adjustment with the pads removed.

So I took another look and the springs were definitely not upside down, they seem to be installed correctly. So not sure what to do now haha

Here's a better pic of how each spring sits to prove they're not upside down.

Starting to wonder if maybe you have a set of V3 meant for an E93? Double check the part number with your retailer.

No they’re definitely for my car, I’ve already checked the part number on the box and they came off an e92.

What did old springs look like in comparison to new ones?

I recently purchased a set of KW V3s and just finished installing them and seem to be having an issue with the rear. I set the rear to maximum low just as a starting point and they appear to be about half an inch HIGHER than my H&R springs were. The coils are slightly used so they're already broken in so not sure if these could settle any further. Is there anything special I have to do in the installation process?
do you remember what came used when you bought this kit, did it include everything.

Yeah it came with everything. I bought it from a pretty reputable source so I'm not thinking I got sold the wrong thing.

You can call KW and ask them if all your part numbers on the springs, perches and hats are right for the car and kit you have.

That looks like something is installed wrong or you have some wrong parts. KW V3 on the lowest setting has the rear wheels tucked into the fender... I usually set the rear to the highest setting as I use it on track and don't want it to be too low.
