No, it's for the 2023 model year cars, which BMW will begin production on in July for the most part (I believe). So as allocations open up for those vehicles (they may have started for some of the models, I'm not sure) ... and eventually for the inventory that will be appearing on dealer lots ... those are the prices that will be applicable.
That's what's not clear. There are already 23 8 series on lots….so what's the price of those?

2023 X5 begins August production. Yes you will be affected. Sorry.

Bummer. Thanks for Answering. Wonder if I should look for a 2022 model that’s available now.
Does anybody know what the changes are for the 2023 X5 model? I asked my dealer but he didn’t really give an answer.

If I were thinking of buying an 8 series, I might want to hurry up before they update the window stickers

I'm finding it harder and harder to justify getting another M5 when prices are increased, dropped options aren't returning, paint colors are disappearing, leather has become "leatherette," and the EV and grille tumors are metastasizing. It just bothers me too fundamentally to pay more for less. No real loss for BMW, really. I'm the one that loses out. And the bad thing is there is just no real lateral or comparable vehicle for me. End of an age.

Kinda hard for me to justify paying a higher price on top of sticker without a markup for an M3 at this rate. These cars aren't cheap and they just keep going up sadly.. Was hoping to jump out of my F82 next year and into a G80, but guess I gotta make some decisions...

I have a G80 on order and was told a few weeks ago it will probably be a '23. If that's the case, then I'll tell them it's at '22 price or goodbye. I suspect they'll happily say goodbye. But by late fall when they can't sell it, they'll be back.

Same here. That's kind of a no brainer for me. Can't wait until the configuration on bmwusa.com is available for it.
We went Audi s5 or a5 sportback shopping. 60k for cars that don't have blind spot monitoring. I really want to get an Audi in the family lineup because of the virtual cockpit. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. How long do you think it would take to take delivery on one after placing an order. I already called my SA, he's probably off on a long weekend.
I would do a military order through Germany direct. Those orders take up to 1 year. Unique program, but they offer 10% off MSRP.

For a normal order I'm not sure. I have heard that car will be built at the Mexico plant, so that may help speed things up.

I have nothing against Audi, but the M340I Xdrive and also the M3 keep getting rave reviews from multiple sources. It's been a while since we've upgraded. I'm stoked for our 2022 X5 in a couple of months and placing an order for a 2023 M340I Xdrive.

8 series will receive a second bump up as they just got up contented and new price discounts earlier this year.

No, they haven't released the 23 build sheets yet. Should be any day now.

Thats up to you but moral of the story is the 23 will cost more in base form... the question is if it has more standard equipment or a change in packaging.

Man, that M3 convertible was expensive already - my build was 92k and now it's 95k. I remember the good days when it was "only" 72k loaded.

We got lucky buying our cars when we did- before the price hikes and when our used cars were worth more than we paid for them, and dealers were a bit desperate.

It is what it is

I love that all these price jumps are still happening at the expense of getting less features because various shortages. Real consumer focused 🤷🏻*♂️

The dealer is still going to charge the markup on top of the 3k because of scarcity.

Not sure why the X7 LCI wasn't included, but the 40i saw a ~$3k price increase and m50i (now m60i) saw a ~$4k price increase.

But the LCI actually came with more standard features (i.e. DHP on the m60i is now standard).

Higher prices and less features. No fog lights, no digital shifters etc. All works in their favor.

How do? Did you see the price hikes with Rivian? The price increase is to be expected with supply chain issues, raw material prices etc. M cars have higher quality components i.e. additional leather, carbon fiber, stainless steel, engine internals, with the 6 cylinders ab additional turbo and necessary parts, larger wheels, brakes etc. I'm with others that are surprised it's not higher.
