Awesome results! I'd love to see the Spark Advance Graph for the stroker using 94 octane.

Very nice results.

1) What's up with that dip in the torque and power curves for the Alekshop stroker compared to the others?

2) I may have missed it, but was this a sleeved build?

3) Did the car have any mods other than the Akrapovic GT4?

While still an expensive endeavor, there is some top end to be gained over an FBO M3 even on 91 octane, not to mention the tremendous torque gains down low. I bet this would be a really fun motor to drive on the street and the track.

There is no benefit to sleeve aluminum block with NA stroker build. Not other mods except for Akrapovic GT4. With cams you loose some low end torque, other strokers don't have cams.

It's a fun car to drive

Nice build!

Just to clarify this is certainly not the most powerful NA S65. There are quite a few S65 engines into mid to high 500 HP on crank. Judd makes +650 HP destroked flat plane S65s. My friend's KMS engine made 610 HP last time on the dyno using convential cross plane design. My racecar's engine (i'm using the same cams as you) is not finished with tuning, yet made 565 HP. This however is the highest horsepower on a chassis dyno, and probably the most powerful street legal car.

Absolutely agree. I am not a fan of sleeving except perhaps if necessary to save a damaged engine.

Just to clarify it's the highest HP street running NA S65. I understand there are higher HP S65 race build motors running on stand alone ECUs but this is your street car. If you can post some dyno charts showing those numbers on MAHA on the factory ECU than I will definitely be impressed

Also the crank hp numbers you are referring too are done on the Engine dyno or MAHA ? It gets really tricky with claimed crank horse power numbers as you might already know. For example Dinan's 4.6 stroker is rated at 502hp but according to the numbers we have seen on Dynojet dyno it can't even produce enough power to get to 502hp with let's say 20% drivetrain loss (20% is a really high number). Usually It's around 16-17% from what we have seen.

The goal is to keep this car NA power. Otherwise we would build a Low Compression without Schrick cams

Engine dyno of course. The engines i mentioned all run on high end standalone ecu's such as Syvecs, KMS, Pectel etc... The Judd engine idles at ~3,000 RPM. My pistons are 13.5:1 for example, tuned for 114 octane. Definitely not what you call street engines. I apologize if it sounded i was taking away anything from your build at first glance, your car definitely has to my knowledge the highest WHP for any street NA S65.

As for the dynos, i should look into my stuff. If i find my sheet i will scan and PM it for you. (I'm 3000 kms away from home)

Holy crap had no idea Judd had an S65 race engine program. Judd makes serious stuff I'm curious what the rationale was for choosing S65, although may be because it's the only reasonably large production, low displacement high rpm dohc v8 show in town and they seem to gravitate toward higher cylinder count with their engines
