Hi Alex, as you are always doing an amazing job!

I would like to know if you have thought about a tune later to be able to use E85 fuel or if you know something about it.

I don't know if in the case of the S65 NA there were problems with the pump and it would not have enough power or simply adjusting a melody to work 100% with E85 would not give problems in the time.

To all this I have seen the AFD (AdvancedFuelDynamics) and eFlexFuel kits in another thread and I was very interested. Since in Spain from October we will have E85 fuel available at all gas stations.

+ 1 for Alex to develop an e85 tune!

Rochen_00 injectors and fuel pump should be fine on NA applications. It's the supercharger cars that run into injector/pump issues w/ e85.

There's no reason to remove the stock secondaries. They flow fine and help the smell/rasp.

I've read the entire thread and also the product description on the Alpine website, but was not able to clearly determine the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Actually, stages are not referenced on the web page. Is this old terminology and stages no longer exist for the tune?

I had never considered tuning my M3, but with all this positive feedback of the car driving smoother overall it's hard to dismiss!

I can confirm this. I have a Stage 1 tune (otherwise stock exhaust/setup) and have passed smog test with no issues.

I reverted back to stock and all monitors became ready within 50 miles of driving. For some reason the STG 1 tune would not let me get the oxygen sensor ready.

Thank's for the info bro! Then there is no need to worry about installing an AFD or eFlexFuel kit. A good tune by Alex for E85 fuel and enjoy!

That's correct, the AFD kit is sold as a bolt on solution with nothing else needed.

Anyone know if you should reflash if you change x pipe? From gutted OEM to an aftermarket.

Only if it’s titanium
I asked before too about changing this and that. Only matters if it’s titanium and whether or not you have primary cats

I already did it months ago but I love the rasp but it’s still muffled since I still have the ipe muffler

I’m also going with a dinan intake next week...so my bmc air filter will be up for sale, $80, used for less than 2k miles

Also selling my work wheels vsxx/brombacher for $2500 (wheels/tires/tpms for pre 2010) apparently I thought they were 2010, it’s for prior years

If you have a bone stock E92 DCT ZCP is it still worth getting the Stage 1 even without any bolt-ons?

Tune is useless unless maybe you ate catkess in terms of making power. Duct tube not at all needed

23hp and 13TQ is useless? Which I believe is what Route 16 showed on a dyno with cats in place. Do you have differing facts on the numbers or are you saying that 20+ hp isn't worth it?

I definitely think so. You are then mapped to optimize the 91 or 93 octane.

Most of the power put down by this car stock is useless on street driving (since a lot of the feels happened mostly above 5k rpm), but the tune is giving me the option to use the power when I'm obviously paying for it anyways (91 or 93 pump gas) at lower rpm by increasing torque also.

I assure you that you are not getting 23hp from a tune alone on pump gas.

Just about every tuner in the country claims 20+ HP on a stage 1 tune other than Dinan. We just had a member dyno his car and shows 20+ hp but you say it's not the case.
