2008 E90 M3 Alternator

Need a little help trying to order a replacement. Mine is not charging sufficiently, 12.4. Tried auto zone but they are out of stock and all the other's I have seen are $400 plus. Anyone have a good site or contact to buy a quality refurbished one?

Thanks. Also, if anyone knows of a DIY I would appreciate it.

has one for $230 including core. Any thoughts on someone with those prices?

That's probably a duralast brand. I wouldn't personally put a cheap alternator in an m3 because battery/charging is very important. Lots of electronics in this car but you do get warranty on alternator it's worth a shot
