Bluetooth intermittent

I've owned my car for about a year and had never had a bluetooth issue. Recently, I connect a call and after 2 minutes, disconnects the car and reconnects back to the car. It will keep switching from car to phone until I turn off the phone bluetooth. It's my same Goggle Pixel (original XL) with no updates since Nov of last year. I have Idrive and Ipod integration. I've disconnected my battery for an hour or so and problem still persists. I have a MULF2 module as well as my TCU. Which one would I need to replace for intermittent bluetooth connection? From what I have gathered thus far, typically, the TCU handles the bluetooth function but since I have a MULF2 module, it handles that and the TCU is pretty much only for BMW assist. Is that actually correct?

Welp, I replaced the TCU with a used unit from Ebay and same problem. On to buying a used MULF2 unit. I will say that having the Protool is AWESOME!!!. Updating the VIN on the new TCU took 2 minutes. Half temped to just update the CCC with a CIC/Combox code it myself.
