E90 M Performance Exhaust value?
Hello All,
Thank you in advance for your help. Soon after we bought our 2010 E90 M3 I bought the M Performance Muffler with the intent to install it after dealing with the deferred maintenance. Rod bearings, actuators, wheels, tires, plugs, fluids, etc took my time and energy (and money!) but after 10k miles I just never got around to installing the muffler. Are folks still looking for these? My local dealer can still get them but at close to $5k. I'm considering selling but what would be a fair asking price? Thank you! |

Brand new wow. Nice! I'd say half the dealer price is a good start. how much weight do these save from stock exhaust? Those oem things are soooo heavy. glws. I'd consider it but I got my e90 for sale. I'm local too. bummer

After getting the car up to snuff I just never got around to installing it so it's just been sitting on the shelf for the past few years. I'm neck deep into some other car projects so I am considering selling but want to be fair, $5k is nuts.

No one is looking for them any more. I’ll take it off your hands for $500

The V2 (which is what you have) tends to list for 1500-2500 used. I paid 1700 for my v2 in good used condition. I’d say 2500-3k would be the range for a new one. The packaging you have makes it much easier to ship.
I didn’t weigh mine prior to installing but it’s bizarrely light given the size. Very happy with it. Install is simple and only takes a couple of hours to diy, throw it on the car! Last edited by CCase; 04-05-2024 at 09:38 PM.. |

Back in 2011 when it was announced, the MSRP was pretty much where it is. You count some inflation here and there.
Quote:
Inflation calculator: $4,374 in 2011 is worth $6,073.38 today Bummer cause at one point the dealers were selling these for $2300 new but they have since popped back up to above 2011 MSRP pricing. Sooner or later these products will go NLA (no longer available). A lot of products have been going NLA in the past year or two.
