I wouldn't say it's over just yet. Pittsburgh could rally in their home town to tie up the series. Personally I still think it's anyone's cup at this point.

Wow. Really got quiet on this thread.
All the obnoxious Detroit fans must be busy eating a big heaping plate of shut-the-hell-up.
Hope the Wings put up a better fight.

No, the thread went quite after the PENS lost 2 games. Shut the hell up.....YEAH

What do Crosby and Obama have in common. The media sucks them both off. Film at Eleven....

LMAO

I love how when the Pens when there are 3 different stories on NHL.com, all featuring Crysby. Sure he got two goals, I can understand a headline story about that. But every single story has multiple quotes from him. I sincerely hope that this year's entry draft has a new star that gets that punk out of the media. Then again, the Pens would lose out on all those 13-18 year old girls that are die hard hockey fans

A better fight? Both times Pens got beat it was a shut out, the one time they win it's by one point. I'd say it's Pittsburgh who has to start the fighting lol

Oh my dear lord, my girlfriend just came in the room wondering why I was laughing my ass off. I showed her those and she got a good laugh as well.

Not clever. Try writing your own material.

Well, yes. Except, it didn't.
It wasn't pretty, but we'll take it.

Flurry won that game....GOOD JOB.

It's a march and it isn't over yet....

It will be next to impossible to win 2 more. That being said, 3 OT's favors young legs. The problem is the PENS didn't play well in that game. Flurry held them in and you can't reley on that night after night.

The Crosby suck off is SO BAD that I have to watch NBC HD and sync the audio from CBN internet feed. At least I get Coach's corner.

WEN game will be interesting to watch how much energy both teams have.

This series is going to 7. Pens have all the momentum right now, not to mention Fleury way out played Osgood last night.

Pens have momentum?

They really haven't played well except in game 3 and then just barely. Other than that Last Night was Flurry and ONLY Flurry.

I agree (except it's FLEURY). That was a terrible game to watch. Detroit outplayed us, whether you're looking at the statistics or momentum during the game. The third period felt like one long Detroit power play. Even in overtime, Detroit was better. Our goalie was better than their goalie, and that's the difference.

The goal to tie with under a minute left was a gift. We should have lost that game. Anything that happens after that goal, from the eventual win in game 5 to whatever happens in games 6 and 7, is a gift.

Who knows, we may see an entirely different Penguins team in the next two games (or a tired, aging Detroit team that's off a step). Malkin might make an appearance. As the expression goes, that's why they play the game.
Either way, we dodged a bullet in game 5.

I'm not a fan of either team, especially detroit, but man it was making me pissed that pitts couldnt even hold on to the puck most of the times when they went towards the offensive. It was an onslaught every time detroit came to the pitts side. It was the pitts. goalie that saved them and the reason they were able to win (in an amazing 3rd overtime!) was that they eventually tired the redwings down, and a power play was used to assist that. But I was really yelling at the TV, pass the F**KING puck!, you have guys going along and waiting for you, open! Then it gets taken by the wings again. So many things could have been better for the pitts if they stepped up. Just made me happy they one that game though. Down with redwings!
