E9x clutch Stopper Review

Hi Guys,

First I would like to say I got my clutch stopper from www.e92lighting.com (Derrick)
the delivery of this item was not very smooth at all. I think the main reason is because people think I am just buying the stuff and trying to copy it here is Taiwan and try to may a quick buck or 2. So paid an extra $8USD for the part to be shipped to me. I don't care about the 8USD but I do care how it feels. Anyways RPI also don't sell things to me, well not my loss.

OK now to the clutch stopper review. First impression its a lot shorter then I expected and that was a good thing. I thought it was going to be not that great of a difference. The clutch stopper is just 1-2 inches away from the engagement point so it works about great.

no problem with the installation quick 15 mins instructions are off the e92lighting website. The car starts fine quicker shifting is also noticeable overall I feel this is a great mod. And do suggest it to others with a 6MT.

but here is a short vid.

Nice vid. Sucks that they stereotype you & treat you differently, I'd be pissed.

Decreases the length of the clutch travel between the floor and the engagement point. I'm definitely doing this. Thanks for the review, Eugene.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, couldn't the tranny experience a grind if the tranny isn't fully pressed down?

The reason why I ask is because on the test drive with the BMW tech prior to my tranny being replaced, he specifically wanted to see if the grind was being caused by the clutch not fully being down to the floor.

I think that's the case when you're not in fully engaging point.
When you're 1/2 way engaged, it'll grind but as long as you're fully engaged, it shouldn't make any problem.

and if there is grinding you will not be able to start the car as well.

I am having fun driving everyday more and more.

Guys, had this mod on my E46 M3 and E46 330ci. The difference is night and day. It will totally change the way you shift and the total driving experience will be more aggressive if that's your thing. IMO, this + a short shift kit is the best duo of mods you can do for these cars.

yep , it does feel like night and day maybe the vid is not the best way to show the difference by once stepping on it....man!!! what a difference.
