Looking for exhaust tips - best place to purchase?

Just purchased an exhaust that has clamp on tips with a 2.5" inlet. I'm looking to replace them and would love to find some similar to the LeMans tips that Eisenmann race comes with. It seems most tips jump in size from 76mm to 89mm outlet.

Does anyone have suggestions where I may be able to find 83mm tips?

83mm tips just seem to fit the car better (imo), and that long bevel to the edge that eisenmann has is super nice. Almost looks like single wall but with a small rolled edge.

Open to other suggestions if you have them. I've found a number of older threads talking about purchasing exhaust tips from other members (cyba?), and have searched ebay / aliexpress etc. but most are dated and/or don't lead anywhere.

Appreciate any tips you may have. Pun intended.

I struggled to find good tips to "upgrade" my muffler with. I ended up with Burkhardt engineering ones. Not too expensive and delivery was only a few days DHL express.

https://burkhart-engineering.com/en/...or-e9x-m3-bmw/

They're 80mm which I think is perfect (3.25"), and you can get them in straight or lemans style aka "slash cut".

They attach just like stock tips, via blind rivets to the muffler's outlets.

Do you know the inlet size by chance? I think clamp on would be ideal, but suppose I could drill some holes for the rivets. Those look pretty good otherwise, appreciate it.

Oh, so you have an aftermarket exhaust? No I don't remember the ID of the attaching end of the burkhart tips, sorry.

Youd be surprised of the quality that is on ebay, That's where i get all my carbon. Also, Most carbon comes from the same warehouses that companys just rebrand. Exhaust tips wrapped in carbon are no difference

Good to hear; looking as we speak - surprisingly tricky to find 2.5" inlet to 3.25" outlet

Is the 2.5" inlet stock size on your vehicle?

Gotcha yes, more difficult to find outlets to pair with aftermarket exhausts. If inlet size is the same as stock exhaust then you'll be fine.

Seems like it, although you would think 2.5" options would be pretty common. Thanks.

Still looking!

I just picked up some tips from 42 Draft Designs https://www.42draftdesigns.com/exhau...t-tips/?page=1

They dont have 83mm tips. I just went with 3" tips as I am going to install a diffuser and I wanted plenty of room between the tips and diffuser.

I installed these on my Akra Evo exhaust. https://www.42draftdesigns.com/3-0-b...-2-5-clamp-on/

Those look nice! Odd they don't have a 2.5" > 3.5" options.

Do you have any pictures of them installed?

Yes, odd they dont make 2.5" to 3.5" tips. I've heard the exhaust tips are fabricated on order. I received mine a couple weeks after I placed the order. Maybe call them and see if they can make a 3.5" tip.

I'm still waiting on my rear diffuser. Single wall brushed 3" tips below.

Those look really good - thanks for the pictures. The brushed finish is a nice touch. Your car looks cleannn.

I'll reach out and see if they're willing to make custom sizes. Appreciate it!

I’m in the same situation. I’m buying an Akra exhaust and refuse to pay $1800 for tips I don’t even like! I would like to find something similar to their now unavailable titanium tips. I thought I found a site with something that would work while I looked for some to tips but the site has terrible reviews.

Did you ever find anything with a 2.5” inlet??

Yeah it's been a bit tricky trying to find something with a custom outlet size. Closest I've found is the link above that pjk380 suggested (42 Draft Designs). I reached out to them and they said that they are in fact able to make either 2.5" > 3" or 2.5" > 3.5" in double or single wall. Just need to contact them to special order if you want the 3.5" outlet version since they're not listed on their website.
