Unstable rear end when shifting while turning
My e92 m3 (DCT) feels like the rear subframe is moving when I up shift while Turning. The rear end feels super unstable during shifts while I’m turning.
The whole car has solid/spherical bushings in every point so I’m not sure what it could be. I’m thinking it might be trans mounts since that’s the only stock rubber part of the car. Has anyone had this issue before? |

Try it with DCT shift speed set to 2 or 3. This will let you know if the higher shift speeds are unsettling the rear end.
Yes it might be that you're feeling the rear diff moving due to the rubber bushes, but that doesn't mean the rear end is losing grip. Also having a full spherical rear end provides a ton of feedback. You feel everything. So it might just be the initial feelings of lateral movement but you're not losing grip yet. |
