Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but for the regular 3 series, Jet Black has a softer clearcoat than the metallic colors, which makes it more prone to swirl marks and other marring. I would go for Jerez Black if for no other reason than this. You can take a look at autopia.org and see that this appears to be true for all BMW models made from E46 onward.

I can at least confirm this is true for the Jet Black paint used on my brother's '07 335i vs my Black Sapphire Metallic '08 M roadster.

Congratulations on yer new ride. It's beautiful, and with Fox Red, too! Not sure what all those exrtra doors are about, though...

The thing about Jerez is that it's an interesting color. The other colors are good, but Jerez is interesting the way Laguna Seca Blue or Phoenix Yellow were. I wish they'd bring back some of those crazy colors, but the JzB makes the grade and looks quite distinguished while doing so.

I just received my JzB m3 and i love the color, unfortunately I am on vacation so I will post pics when i get back. I have always loved JB cars and if I were to order again I would order JzB again without a thought.

JZB FTW!

Absolutely, without a doubt, LOVE the color of my car! Not that it matters much, but I've received lots of compliments on the color combination JZB+FR.
