Just got mine. The quality and feel is well worth it. I will try installing my previous aluminum paddles since they are heftier. Gonna update here if it works out. Hope everyone gets their orders very soon.

i've noticed on the pictures of the aluminum paddles, the orientation (rotation) of the -/+ signs are not level with the ground, but rather tilted to match the curvature of the paddles. But on some of the carbon paddle shifters, it seems to be level with the ground. Some are rotated like the aluminum paddles.

Will the final version have level orientation of the -/+ on both carbon and aluminum paddles?

Success! I was able to retrofit my old aluminum paddles by drilling two small holes and attaching them with the supplied screws. No need to run the cheaper feeling carbon paddles anymore.

I think when you view the paddles on their own, the +/- are level. However, the shifter modules attach at an angle to the steering wheel. So after install, the +/- looks tilted.

Do the OEM aluminum paddles work with this?
Also, if you pay the extra $25, do you get the both shoet/long aluminum and short/long cf?

OEM paddles do not work by default because the mounting screw is different. You may be able to drill your own holes to get them to work.

If you +$25 for the aluminum paddles, you will receive all 3 paddle sets - alu paddle, long CF and short CF paddles.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already. When will the groupbuy orders ship out? I assume after September 16?

GB closes 16 Sep. But we already have a fair bit of orders. I will try to see if we can get them shipped out ASAP (before 16/9).

I will be submitting the final orders to JQWerks on 16 Sep and they will email you for payment after that. So from now until 16 Sep it is just filling up the Google order form.

Thanks.
