Hey man, reviving the thread to ask a question... I just bought a DCT car with 75k miles and the driveshaft clunks & has the cowbell noise. Would you recommend the CF driveshaft at ~$2k from Mshop or try to service the joint? It's driven on the street 95% of the time. Thanks!

Hey! If you're already paying for labor to get the driveshaft removed you might as well do the Carbon driveshaft even though it's a street car. I wish they came with a one piece from the factory tbh. It just feels more direct

I too have the cowbell noise.. Are there ANY negatives to the CF driveshaft? My car is driven 95% on street and im sensitive to drivetrain noise (NVH, whines, etc).

What are the Pros and Cons?
