This thread is so dead.. I'm reviving it..

I have been noticing two other ///Ms at the car park I normally use. Today saw the other two parked side by side so took opportunity to do a group shot.. not sure if the owners are on this forum or not.. mine is the E92 on the right.

I just hit 30,000kms on my 2011. Still loving it. Got my first door ding 2 weeks ago. Triggered me hard.. Luckily only paint less but i haven't fixed it yet. My wife X5 got a hard one that took paint off in the same month too. People are cunts

I have a theory on this.

Whenever I been completely anal about my car, park miles away from others etc I tend to get dings. When I've decided that I don't care, and just let go of the worry of getting dings and park wherever I like I haven't got any. I've had a good run with my last few cars on this front.

As a rule though if I am being careful, I usually try to park next another nice car as I assume that they also care about their car too and are far less inclined to bang their door on mine.

i look for parallel parking spots now, i figure that people cant open their door into you then, people are more careful parallel parking as well, see heaps of people that cant do it give up, then go park on an angle in a normal spot haha

What looked like a black M3 - plates IVI II (if I remmember correctly) heading down plain St next to FMG/Hyatt in East Perth, have seen it a few times here before ...

Very low and loud and I swear it looked wider as well.

Anyone here ? Or Anyone know it ?

Plates are IVI III just like his forum name. Evolve exhaust. No wide body. Lowered car and aggressive wheels makes it look wider😁

i believe the remote controlled valves were removed from the Evolve system so now a permanent 100% loudish V8 symphony. If you had a keen eye a Valentine 1 may also have been spotted.

Evolve x-pipe, exhaust and stage 2 tune.. Lowered on bilstein edc coilovers.
No widebody.. but headlight mods are on the agenda..

recently added a mode carbon v1 lip and challenge rear diffuser.

U live in east Perth XIX? you will probably spot Crambos interlagos M3 with Akra soon too..

Yeh mate, on Terrace Rd, Ive def seen you before as well. My Mrs has taken my plates (XIX) for her car but ill have to get something to fit in soon!

More info on your headlight mod? Looking at doing something to bring the front up to date - 3/4 DTM's for example. :P

yep am looking at the 3/4 DTMs from Bavgruppe, full blackout with switchback led turn signals and CF eyelids. still deciding on whether to do this myself or send them out...

currently sourcing a set of headlights from Europe.... cant find any in AUS - even at the wreckers.

Getting the bumper removed so you can get at the headlights is half the battle. Being willing to stick your headlights in a warm over, that takes some nuts.
