I was set on wanting a manual sedan and it was the first one local much less not 1500+ miles away. I also really wanted black but sparkling graphite was the only color i would have preferred even to that, so got real lucky there.

Its a little rough around the edges (worn drivers seat bolster, front bumper has seen a curb) but throttle actuators were done. I was planning on doing rod bearings straight away anyhow so was glad to get a good deal - plus I bought it to be driven hard not to be babied

Luckily, the PPI helped a lot with peace of mind. Since it didn't come with thorough service record as a dealer vehicle, I'm assuming RBs and TAs haven't been done, though I'm planning to take care of them this year. Just going to make sure I'm careful with monitoring oil temp whenever I go out to preserve them as long as I can before they're done. It also came with a rear-mounted dash cam that is currently not connected and to my surprise, the owner's manuals and even the original warranty booklet (still sealed)!

"Drivelogic" was just marketing speak for the adjustable transmission parameters, you have the same DCT as all of us.

Guess you had to jump on that one pretty quick? I usually browse through the ads every few days and don't recall seeing that one.

Thanks man! I remember you commenting on a thread I made about the PPI results. Helped put some concerns to rest so I decided to pull the trigger.

It was listed by Ultimo Motors in Chicago since late last year, but only showed up on Autotrader and their own site when I first found it. $26,900 was the list price but tax, fees, and shipping brought it to the 30s by the time it got to my driveway. Still competitive pricing for the mileage and condition compared to most E90s listed in-state.
