I'm currently deciding on selling my 2017 440i GC and looking to get an e90/92 M3 as a replacement, I came across this finding:

2008
2 Owners
30,559 miles
Exterior: Silver Stone
Interior: Fox Red
6 Speed
Sun Roof
Non Comp
Premium Pack
220M Wheels
Navi
Clean Carfax no accidents

Outside of the specs everything looks stock and is clean. Asking Price is $30,000.

Generally speaking, $30,000 is pretty high for an '08 M3 - most buyers seem to be looking for an LCI model ('09+).

With that said, this car being a 6MT, really low miles, and Fox Red interior - that could certainly bump it's price to the $30,000 marker. With all the people wanting to buy a E90 6MT right now (just look at all the WTB ads in the 'for sale' section) and so few available, I could see this going for close to asking price.

Just my .02.

I just paid north of that for a 2009 e90 6mt with about double the miles. Granted, it's basically a stripper, and a car I spent almost a year looking for. Price seems about right given how hot the used car market is right now.

The mileage is low, but that doesn't necessarily tell the story of maintenence. Time is just as bad.

I'd look at the car and if it checks out have a PPI done to see what needs to be done and use that for negotiation. It seems like it's probably high unless the car is in extremely good condition.

Thank you that was helpful. It seems to have been maintained well based on the carfax fluids where regularly changed. All work was done at a BMW dealership. And is actually being sold by the same dealership. It was originally sold from there fully serviced there and now being sold again by them, which also happens to be one of them no haggle places.

I would still get an independent PPI done at a BMW shop if you can. The dealer is unlikely to disclose anything. An Indy can pull codes, check bushings, gaskets etc to see if anything looks funny. If anything, any issues they find gives you some additional leverage even if they say "no haggle" you can request them to repair anything.

Must get a PPI from an independent shop, no question. One other maintenance item specific to the 2008 E9x M3 6MT is replacing the clutch also means replacing the flywheel and the pressure plate because of a design change.
