Is this for a set of 4 or 2? I know at one point they had 100 off a pair.
It would likely be about $100-$150 off 4. No sales tax unless you live in KS which is no one.

The price will always be available. Might be able to offer an additional but small group buy discount 2-4 times per year.

Interested, but what is the total for a set of 4 with shipping?

I'm interested - better deal for me as I have to pay taxes in Texas. Any other options - R71R, BFG-R1, etc.? See you at MSR, BigJae!

NITTO won't do a direct deal...at least with me.

Here is what it's looking like at this point.

1. The one thing I know is it will need to be a group buy of at least 100 tires. Any size...just needs to be an NT01.

2. Price is looking like it will be about $245/tire. I'd like to get it down another $20 but not sure if I can.

3. Still working out shipping. Hopefully, they can just drop ship so shipping would be free.

4. The process would be I start a list in a new thread, people show interest, I send PP invoices, 7 days to pay, 2-3 weeks to ship. If I don't get a total order for 100 tires, I refund everything.

It's not looking really great. I do realize the $100 off deal is still better.

Unfortunately, I've moved from soft drugs like NT01 to hard intravenous drugs like Pirelli slicks, haha.

I did pick up a set of brand new RE-71R to run in my E46, and I have to say I still love that tire. It makes a noob look like me look like a hero.

Still like them better than NT01, but it's hard to pass NT01 at a $800 price point.

I really appreciate you doing the research, but at $245/tire it might not be worth your time. They can currently be found for $259 shipped from a number of places.

I agree.

At $840ish for a set of tires, Discount Tires is losing money on that sale. They might make some of it up in incentives but ain't no way they're getting that kind of margin on the tires. It's a great deal so take advantage of it if you can.

I think I can get in the ballpark for those that pay sales tax, I think it's GA, OH and TX as long as I sell a certain amount in a certain time period. I can run a group buy early in the period and then the lower price is available for the rest of the period. So less waiting, fewer tires sitting at your house.

I can offer a 3% cash discount. Consider that, free shipping and no sales tax (for those in certain states), I should be able to beat the Discount Tire $100 off price.

The trade off is it will take 1-3 days to ship.

It's going to come down to shipping cost. If the distributor can agree to drop ship and cover the cost then it will work. Saves money and I don't want my garage full of tires.

The best I can do is $990 plus shipping for a set of 4 275/35R18 tires. I need to sell a batch of 25 sets (in any size). I can give a cash discount of $25.

Might make sense if you want to buy a couple of sets or live in GA, TX, OH, or AZ since you get charged sales tax. I think the shipped cost should might save you $50.

I can freight ship terminal to terminal/business for relatively cheap.

Bottom line is I can't compete with the $100 off discount deal.

Not sure if there is interest...I can do a crazy weird odd "buy an Aim SoloDL 2 for $700, get a set of NT01s for $900 shipped" deal. Would need 20 buyers.

What slicks and sizes have you run with any feedback?

Hard not to pull the trigger on the Nitto's at this price, but I'm considering sticker BFG R1s or Pirelli scrubs for $500/set. I've run 305 squared Pirelli DHs with some rubbing at the spring perch, but looking at 285/30/18s squared now. I'm not getting more than 4 days from NT-01s or R71Rs before they cord.

I have DH take-offs I haven't run yet, and picked up two sets of 265 Achilles slicks. Haven't ran those yet either.
Nt01's have been my sole track tire (after my first time). I only get about three days out of them.
Sure if I get to run them this weekend either… It's looking like rain at Laguna Seca Friday.

Dude, you're going to have the time of your life with those slicks. They won't improve your driving though because they let you get away with so much, haha.

What was the deal with Yost? Did he show up at an event looking to unload a bunch of their unused stuff?

Yep. He has more, too. Someone told me they were more like nt01's... we'll see.
