Rev matching greatly reduces slippage and heat since both the clutch and flywheel will be spinning at the similar speeds when they come together. I wonder if the Dinan software is somehow more precise at matching RPMs when engaging the clutch against the flywheel. That would reduce wear and heat. Its finally warmed up here enough to drive the car briskly. I have new PSS on the rear...MAN! does S5 upset the car! I never remember it being THAT jerky. Has my DCT programming evolved over the winter?

My first set of rear PSSs were already "scubbed" in and were great pretty much straight away. My second set were new and took a quite while to settle in. I like (Euro) S3 for upshifts, sharp without too much jerk and S4 for downshifts. I want a DCT tune that combines the best of these two settings.
