If you had ever tuned an engine before, you would know that the dyno chart posted above is so full of BS that I can smell it from here. It's showing more than 15 lb-ft improvement below 3k rpm. Essentially the same improvement across the whole rpm band. Exhaust systems that reduce back pressure show their gains predominantly in the higher rpm ranges. There is no way to produce a steady 15 lb-ft increase in torque across a wide rpm range from an exhaust system modification alone. Header and intake tuning are typically needed to get a wide torque increase.

When I first looked at the chart above, I thought it looked like the improvement you see from underdrive pulleys. But I then realized it was just a cherry picked dyno run.

Yes, I'm one of the dickheads. I'm trying to ease up, but big brake kits and exhaust system dyno claims get me all messed up.

Hartge & Hamann made a header back and that is what Ericcson is also.

ASR Exhaust sounds really Nice

I was told the exhaust from the headers back would be $1200 from another source...

Its not official though

You will be waiting forever, ASR is not reliable.

Their scoops were supposed to be ready in two weeks 5 months ago. Look at the post date for the exhaust.

Im currently at a tossup between AA full exhaust from the header back and ASR once their pricing and numbers are out.

Im planning on putting a full header back exhaust with less restrictive cats, pulley , short shift kit and maybe ECU uograde over the winter .

Now only if ASR could come out with numbers and pricing otherwise I will go with AA.

Might as well go with AA then, their exhaust exists.

I've never seen anyone use it at the track (not drag strip), could it be done?

How much is a bottle refill?
I know my local autox club won't allow nitrous on course. I would imagine it would be the same on the track. I would be willing to bet it has something to do with insurance. If your car lights up with a full bottle of nitrous in the back, it's only a matter of time before it explodes.

Nitrous does not make sense for a road course.
