how do I stop my M3?

need to replace pads/rotors in the rear but OEM prices are just ridiculous. what aftermarket rotor/pad combo do you guys recommend?

ps... I know this has more than likely been well debated by now, but just looking for a quick answer. thanks in advance.

Man, you should definitely search this topic. This chassis is 10yrs old and there is plenty of information that you should want to read. I'm not saying this to be one of those go search pricks on the forums, I'm saying this because it helped me tremendously when I was at your point.

M cars aren't cheap to keep up on maintenance either

I get you, I just haven't had the time to do a thorough search.

Zimmerman makes the BMW rotors, I think. They may be slightly cheaper. Look for a sale. I think I paid $225 each for rear rotors. Stoptech Street or Sport pads work fine and are reasonably priced.

If you are burning through rotors every 25k miles, you have reason to complain. If you just bought a 10 year old $65k car for $20k thinking maintenance costs would be for a $20k car, you are learning a lesson. My original front rotors made it to about 90k miles and 10 years. Did a pad change along the way. The rears could have gone longer but the rotor vanes were so rusted that I tossed them. No complaints about the cost from me - I spent under $1000 on front and rear rotors and pads.

See, that logic makes absolutely zero sense. In the time it took you to make this thread and then wait for someone to post with an answer, you could've searched and obtained the results much, much quicker.

Don't be scared. RockAuto ftw! $40/piece.

Looks can be deceiving, they make contact when you need em to.

Replace 'time' with 'lazy' in the aforementioned sentence and it makes more sense
