WTB: e92 DCT carbon roof 2012-2013

Yet another want to buy thread. IM looking at a few e92 coupes at dealers but would prefer to buy one from one of you guys before I go through the ringer. Id like competition package, DCT, and not grey interior. Im also loooking for something in the 60,000 miles range. I have 30k, and cant really move on that. I figured this would be a better plan than going into everyones thread and making offers. If you are interested please DM me. Thanks!

It may be out there but the combo of 2012-2013 ZCP under 60k miles CF roof for $30k is going to be difficult. My guess is you will need to lower the year to 2011 and raise the mileage slightly. She's out there waiting for you.

I just missed on this guy... sat on the lot for 60 days and they had no interest. I called about it yesterday and they sent it to auction overnight!!! Was pretty bummed

It was in an accident. If you are willing to purchase an accident vehicle then you might just find what you want a little bit easier.

Also been in an accident. This one has been floating around the forum for awhile. It's at a BMW dealer and they are afraid to work on it. Thank goodness you don't want a black M3 lols.

Accidents happen, I dont have a problem purchasing a car with accident history as long as it was repaired right. This is going to be a daily driver for me. My concern is panel alignment, quality of paint repair, etc.. First thing Im going to do is change the bearings on whatever I get.

Then you will have no issue. I agree, if the price is right and it was fixed correctly then someone has to drive and own her.

Ha. For that red interior, I’d go anywhere in the country. And yeah beige is a had sale. I’ve seen it on Mel rose red and i think that’s ok.

I spoke to these guys the day this one posted. It belonged to the sales manager so that's why they are selling it there, even though it has a clear title (they specialize in salvage title sales). Also, it's mineral even though they listed it as alpine.

OP - I wish you the best of luck but it's going to be tough to find a 2012+ for $30k flat unless the car has a massive amount of miles.

If you'd consider a 2011, this one is being sold by a private party so maybe he'd come down a few grand (I don't know the seller but the car looks good):

So I was scouring the ends of the internet and I found one last night. Im pretty excited, details to come soon if it works out. The price is right and the color combo is exactly what I want. I messaged the dealership overnight, heres to hoping it hasnt sold.

haha... good luck. we all been there. Im enjoying this journey lol I'm in the same position. but I already had the zcp (e90 at that) I wanted and sold it... now looking at a cheaper alternative (e92 this time). lol Good luck again

Not to mention one heck of an odd combination: Bamboo under Silverstone? Who thought of that one? Thats almost as bad as two-tone interiors.

Thats awesome. I hope it works out for you. I've been searching for over a year and the only time I find something that meets my checklist it also happens to be insanely overpriced.

Post up where you've been searching, maybe that could help me and everyone else who is looking. Common searches around here are Cars, CarGurus, Autolist, CarsDirect, eBay, CL, CarMax, Autotrader. I keep most of it on overwatch with Autotempest and salt it with occasional forum searches across the major M boards and BMWCCA.

So I actually found mine via facebook marketplace. I set bmw m3 as the filter and a 100 mile radius. I went from city to city until I got lucky and found exactly what I wanted at a dealer in Texas.
