Hoping for 08 E92 M3
i was looking into buying an 09 M3, but prices are a bit too high for me. even with deals thrown in and invoice, etc. they average out at around $56k.
my plan is to wait it out until more used 08's pop up for sale in the mid $40k's. or maybe at the end of the year they will have crazy deals for the 09's? either way if I get the M3 it will be at the end of the year. anyone else in the same boat? any thoughts? I'm in the same position. I'm not really in a hurry either way. There are still plenty of nicely-equipped 2008s on lots new, the 2010 model year is around the corner, and used 2008s are in the high 40s now. But be warned, don't bring these facts to car dealers who are stuck with their 2008s. They are relatively hostile at the notion of selling their 2008s for anything below $55k. Gas prices are going up too. Many of them should have sold while they had the chance.

I was sort of in a hurry , so I went ahead and ordered my 2009 m3 sedan for $56K out the door. the MSRP was $56,625. I couldn't wait any longer since I'm horrible with keeping my patience.

yeah i'm in the same boat, cant wait to get my hands on a AW 08 6MT, but got the patience till it comes down quite a bit.
earliest it will be i probably mid year 2011 that i look to purchase one, and by then i think should be able to find one around 40k (and if they are not, i'll wait until they hit 40k! ) |
