From what I've read, and LSD and a manual tranny will NOT be available on the 335is. So if you want those goodies, you need to go up to the M3. I'm sure BMW thought long and hard about the best way to squeeze the 335is into the mix without screwing up M3 sales too much.

Is it accurate that one will still be able to buy an E92 M2 in 2012? I'm doing some long term planning and would prefer to buy in 2012 than 2011, but would move my purchase up in the event M3s wouldn't be produced in 2012.

Wow mapezzul,

Here you go again!?!?!?

You are really good at saying a lot but not giving anything away. Can you say whether there will be an announcement from BMW and when? Or will we just have to wait for the allocations to hit dealers?

You say that you weren't necessarily talking about the e90 in the podcast, but then give many very good reasons that they would stop making the e90 M3...

At least you have me hooked! I love the bimmerfiles site, and the podcasts. I keep checking everyday for some kind of announcement!

Good news, so far so good.
Do you know if they're offering the ZCP option for MY11 E90s?

There are models that will be dropped (official) but I am not at liberty to say at this time.

Place an order and see what happens though allocations will not hit until Feb. Basically BMW is retooling for 2011.
Oh and the Competition Package is coming!

Guys, this info is from one of our few trusted insiders... NO dealers have allocations in their systems for 2011 M3's. We are all waiting. No options or model information is available at this time.

I don't know about any ZCP packages, I would doubt the E90 will see this, but only my 2 cents.

There is a detailed options and technical specifications bulletin for Canada for March production MY2011, I have read it.

As far as the allocations go, I would agree this could be more of a dealer promised allocation and not an actual if none have been provided, this one I have no facts on. Just what was communicated to me.
