This deserves its own response.

As the car was rolling off the truck, I was grimacing while twisting my legs and leaning forward ever so slightly.

Hope that was descriptive enough. :

I'm driving around after work at the moment and still can't believe that I'm sitting in my dream car.

What an ///M Monday...
Can't believe you didn't take the chance to say ///Monday

OP ... one of the best quotes ever!!!

... the new turbo-charged atrociousness known as the F8X generation of ///M cars. Between the ugly angular headlights and terrible hood line, awful sounding engine, electric steering, and fake induction sound pumping to the speakers, I think of it as a bad joke at best...

Plugs, engine mounts and bearings at 27,632 miles.

Special thanks to SYT_Shadow for helping source the replacement BE Bearings and ARP bolts, and to deansbimmer for talking me out of a complete rebuild at this mileage.
The work was done at the local dealer by a master tech who wrenches on the side.

Well done proper care and maintenance and she'll last forever.

Low miles to be thinking about a complete rebuild - was there a reason or just cause you love her so much?

Did u notice an immediate difference with the new plugs?

No perceived difference with the new plugs.
The rebuild was something that my tech wanted to do in order to address the main bearings and be 100% certain that the motor won't grenade.
I'll roll the dice as I get get closer to 100k miles and will deal with it at that time.
As in visit deansbimmer or let my local guy handle it.
Also visited emegatronics here in Bridgeport which also does rebuilds for around $7k.
