That video is seriously so pointless.

Key points for anyone who doesn't want to watch the video:

-Compares three exhausts: Valvetronic, Alibaba, and Bomiz
(Virtually affordable alibaba, pricier Alibaba, too expensive Alibaba)

-Doesn't actually cut open the exhausts to compare quality. Why? Because they're all from the same supplier in China.

-Sound is subjective(?) Yet sound is the most important aspect to buying an exhaust, aside from quality of course.

-Valvetronic: "We have a bracket." Cool Story. No one is going to see the bracket under the car.

-Also Valvetronic: "Our remote is encased in a 3D printed shell to hide the fact that it's the same remote."

-Again, Valvetronic: "We charge the most. Why? Because we can."

I was excited to see the comparison video but after watching the whole thing, I realized that I did nothing but waste my time.

A friend of mine purchased a GRWA exhaust, same one you guys and myself are running, and his came stamped with Bomiz's logo.

I love this post. Well stayed and hilarious.

I watched the video as well, pretty pointless. They are all basically the same exhaust. I purchased the Bomiz exhaust during the group and love it. Sound is great, install was super easy, I did it on ramps in about 2 hours with a buddy. Bomiz also comes with much better tips and I opted for ceramic paint on all the cans to prevent rust. Overall the sound is awesome, especially cold start. Cant wait to get an x pipe, may actually still get the valvetronic x pipe since they have it with the 200 cell cats.

The fact that he is actually doing this and trying to convince is a red flag itself lol.

In other news, looks like our exhausts are arriving on Sunday and I'm hopeful to get those in my hands this upcoming week.
Hey any news on the exhaust by any chance ?

Not yet. The date has changed when I checked the tracking again but I reached to our agent to confirm. I already paid some fees tho so we are making some progress but unfortunately it's all painfully slow.

Sorry I wish I had more leverage here but shipping is fully out of anyone's control at this point.

Aight…good news I guess. Today I finally sorted out all the logistics with brokers and customs which honestly wasn't tough but definitely more anxious than I thought it'd be. Long story short our carrier can't act as a broker so I had to find someone else which is nonsense and even the shipper was surprised to hear that. Thank you to my friend who is also a forum member for getting me a solid broker (hopefully lol). And if any of you decide to run a GB that involves importing hit me up and I'll help you with my experience as much as I can.

As of now only 4 things are left to do in the process:

1) shipment to arrive (the toughest one)
2) for me to pay customs (they have my payment info)
3) for me to pick it up (will go as soon as I am allowed to)
4) ship it out (to those who are out of state)

So, I guess we are on the finish line and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no delays because our container got pushed again from 8/1 to 8/10. Annoying to say the least.

I truly admire all your guys patience. Y'all are the MVPs.

Don't want to jinx it but I'm hopeful to pick it up Friday based on my conversation with the broker a few hours ago.

Of course!

Now that we are at the finish line and I have learned so much, I'd actually be open to run more GBs😅 I have great relationship with the suppliers and the brokers so who knows what the future holds.

Who wants to do brakes or some other shit? 🤣
