Are they powder coated underneath too? I'd like to see if the mating surface is powdercoated

No the underside is not powder coated... the mating surfaces are free and clear of any coatings. The valve covers had been acid dipped and soda blasted to remove any residue and oils. If you would like pictures feel free to PM me your phone number. Id be happy to answer any questions for ya.
