Beltronics expert advise needed
Bought a used Bel STI about a month ago now. Looks brand new and everything seams to work properly. Not a single time have I heard it going off and I've come across maybe 10 police car till now... Actually, apart from the power ON beep, I never hear anything coming out of it.
Do you guys mind sharing your settings? Particularly here in Canada... I'm using the direct wire kit from Bel which has a small module with mute button and alert light.... So I'm wondering if there's a parameter in the settings I should modify because of that... Let me know!

You could always ask one of the cops to help you test your new radar detector.
 Seriously, is AutoMute set to ON? Is VASCAR used by LEOs in your area?

It's a radar detector and not a cop detector. Perhaps, as strange as it might be, the 10 cops you passed were not using the speedgun?

Anything's possible. What I find strange is I used my V1 once or twice and it beeped on the first cop car I came across... But again... anything's possible...
I'll check for the auto mute... I honestly haven't checked the manual as I should've.

Undetectable (illegal where I live), was able to find a decent deal on the bel. Heard good things about it.
