Varis Product
Anyone have any experience with ordering Varis products? Ordered a diffuser a year ago and was quoted 4-6 months. If you had Varis products how long did it take for you to get it? I'm tired of getting this run around bullshit from my vendor.

Cancel the order with the CC/Payment Provider. I learned this with another vendor on the previous car. Held my order w. run around excuses for months. Called PayPal and put a hold on his account - he finally shipped and stopped answering my calls/emails. These companies need to understand how to operate businesses correctly, and to stop playing with people's damn money. Ain't nobody got time for that. I've seen some pretty good products from my local shop that custom orders Varis products. (also hosted in Hot Version)
I can ask them about overseas shipment if you want.

Varis can take up to 1yr to get any products in your hands here, its very typical of them.

SFCM3: I understand it can take a year, but it is about a year now to date with no confirmation or anything. Everyone and a bulletproof rep said 4-6 months. So wtf is going on? |

They say it will take 1.5 to 2 months to produce so looking at around 3 months total until it gets to your doorstep.

Ah, so no diffuser on top of the exhaust.
Checked with Varis Japan, and since production is on order, it doesn't make a difference. (2 months max) I suspect your local shop hasn't even placed an order yet or is waiting for other Varis orders so they can have it shipped altogether for cheaper price.

Some things to add..
http://www.vrs-aero.com/bmw/m-series...tem/index.html They have 2 types carbon fiber material and 2 types of weave patterns: VSDC (Varis Semi Dry Carbon) and regular carbon fiber products, with twilled or plain weave patterns. (4 combinations total) E92 M3's CFRP roof uses plain pattern, so I think it's best to go with plain pattern.

I ordered my diffuser last February and it arrived in April of this year. From what I understand, they work in batches. They'll do one run of diffusers then switch to something else. Because there's only one authorized distributor for them in the US it will be slow.
