Re-finish my OEM steering wheel
Does anyone know where I can go in So-Cal to get my OEM DCT steering wheel refinished? Like, wrap the wheel again in leather and what not. The black leather on the wheel is starting to discolor, its really weird because I've only had my car for 20k miles and I clean my car once a week, very thoroughly.
Any input is welcome! |

Is that cheaper than getting it refinished? I think an OEM DCT steering wheel is a little more than $350?

I'm not posting the link but you can get the OEM wheel or OEM recovered in alcantara, preforated etc. for @ 350 from Germany on ebay. Someone here already posted a pic of an alcantara one. This is with M stitching too. Some guy on the other forum used to recover them for the same price also. Maybe a local shop can match that? I don't know, but they're avail for much cheaper than what you guys think.

If recovering cost the same as OEM, then I might as well save a little more and get a performance wheel? Do you think BMW can replace it as a dye defect? lol
