definitely I can agree on cooling caliper. I just made it on dryer hose and tracked at VIR.. made huge different then not having one.. Rotor has lasted me all season last year. 18 track days.

I go through a set of Pagid Yellows per weekend. Rotors (front) lasts me 4 weekends before they are cracked/fractured across the board. Rear rotors I change every 8 weekends when I do the 2nd front set. Rear pads are good for 4 weekends. Lutfy |

I tend to drive my M3 like a miata momentum car, minimal braking, earlier apex, and slide the turns some. When I followed you, comparatively you did a late apex, with very late ( and hard) braking, followed by a turn and scoot. My method is far easier on the brakes, probably harder on the tires.

You do need to work up to anything in small steps till you feel comfortable with it. And please don't lift at WGI

I did a nice 360 spin in turn 9 once because I lifted there and I still don't know why I didn't hit the railing ( 18 ft long car spinning in track 30ft between railings....).

Ok, now i see what you mean. You got lucky there. Yeah, rear tires should be loaded at least to some degree at the apex and after. I would say, the esses are the most dangerous place to lift at WGI, but we are drifting away from the topic of this thread i think. Cant wait to get there after this winter
