I've heard nothing but bad about Pacific and Santa Monica. There was a thread here about someone stealing an IPod at Pacific.

South Bay BMW is the way to go, I didn't buy my M from them but I got a loaner when I went into service and then I asked for an extra bottle because my oil warning came up the last time and they hooked it up.

Its COVERED!

Center BMW covers it... they just take my key and state that the car is requesting oil service... they top it off and I'm on my way.

4 Year or 50K.... NO Maintenance

Who was the SA at Monrovia?

So I went to New Century, where I bought my car from, and told them my concern. The service advisor told me the same thing and told me to go buy a quart of oil from the part department and they will pour it in. I was lost for a second and ask him why this is not cover by BMW. He told me this is the policy for all North America dealerships and no dealerships will do it. I said" that's funny, because my friend has the same problem and South Bay BMW pour a quart in for free. then he got made and turned way. I was like wtf , I will take my business somewhere else.
I drove down to BMW at Monrovia, and guess what they did, they top it off for free.
New Century BMW can kiss my business goodbye.

Riverside BMW was willing to top off my oil, no charge, but I had to let them take it into the service bay to do so. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn't wait the 45 minutes or so they said it would take to get to the car. They then said they would put it in for me in the waiting area, if I bought the oil myself. I thought that was weird, but I'm sure there are regulations about that stuff, and at least I know that as long as I have the time, they're willing to help out for free.

I know century west in no ho will do it, as well as center bmw van nuys, i would never go to Santa Monica BMW, the sales manager was looking at my car when i came outside and asked me is this your car, i said yes, then he laughed, and told me he had a m3 for 2 months but did not like it, I told him that he probally could not afford one, because his sales skill obviously suck. I think he did this because i look like a guy who could afford one.

Same thing happened to me a Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo, CA. What you do is laugh in thier face for nickel and diming you and question whether they value their customer's time. The reaction on their face is well worth the $13.90

Good job Monrovia for helping you.

What I don't get is why don't you guy keep a few bottles in the garage? My '05 ZCP always has a bottle in the trunk. When I bought my '08 E90 from New Century, the salesperson gave me 2 bottles to keep in case the oil get low.

Next time you go into service, buy a few bottles. It will cost more to drive to the dealer, wait for SA, argue with them, and got a free tops off.

beverly hills is one to stay away from too. the SA's there are very disrespectful.
