Ordered from Apple app in iPhone. They are holding my reservation because they can't connect my carrier system (AT&T).

How did u do that mine keep saying error. Now all pick ups are taken ?

Got mine through Verizon and kept my existing plan from 2009 unlimited data. Delivery 11/3. Use Safari if ordering from apple's site, but for Verizon customers it will ask for your billing pin, so you might get stuck if you don't have that, not sure if it is on your statement. Ordered mine through My Verizon via Safari browser in Mac OS High Sierra

Sounds like you got lucky! Mine keeps giving me issues and can't find the account. So looks like I'm SOL and have to wait till they have them in stock

Yeah, seems they have a bunch of Verizon phones in Atlanta but they are all out of the other carriers. I've tried att and Verizon. No luck

store didnt even load until 10 mins later, already 2-3 week shipment, thrn when it went through it couldnt connect to at&t servers

Got one for my wife (delivery 11/3) and a reservation for myself. Sold out quick! We did the same for the release of the 8 a few weeks back and bought one. Plan to give to mother-in-law as an upgrade when the X gets here.

Can anyone explain why the store would ask anything related to carrier information if you want to buy a full price unlocked phone? This pretty much messed up everything for me.
