Yea I'm still a little lost as to what he means. It's either you want limited production cars, or not. very simple. Although if I was going "limited" I'd choose a Black Series over a 1m. lol |

M2, Jag F, or Cayman for me most likely.

I would really love to add M2 in my garage, but I can't have 2 coupes.
only if my wife agrees we can have M2, then yes I will seriously consider M2 when it comes out. I know it has to be automatic tho lol |

Not enough info yet. As I said in another thread, I'd prefer a detuned S55, but we'll see. N54 didn't have an S engine, yet it was a great car too.
I'm surprised not one mentioned it, but the reason I'd get an M2 would be the weight compared to an F80. So I'd rather wait and see.

If the rumor is true that it will have the new B58 (N55 replacement) with 380ish HP, i'm not interested unless they really make the car act like a M car. They will need to improve the cooling drastically because right now thats what separates the S55 from the rest of the turbo N54/N55 motors, its cooling seems to be top notch. It can handle track abuse.
Unfortunately, the M2 looks really promising except for the engine.....I hope i'm wrong ...

My boss has one, I can drive it whenever I want - It's comfy and powerful, but it doesn't feel confident and agile.

Agreed. I can't see why BMW wouldn't use a detuned S55. I'm very intrigued by this car. I have 2 more years left on my e92 lease and will have a good amount of cars to choose from. I had (2) 135's and even though they weren't M cars, I had such a blast driving them.

It would have shot the car right to the top of my list. I'll wait until they are reviewed before crossing it off my list. It could be that the chassis and handling is that much better than the M3/4 who knows. But as of right now, the F80 is right at the top of my list for my next car. It will look great though. Such aggressive proportions:
