Thanks for all the compliments on the pics....this is 1/4 of what I took! It was an amazing time and for those going to see them race make sure you are in the paddock 20 minutes before the race so you can see the drivers, start-up, etc....it is amazing to see and hear.

there are three cars.. red GT, blue GT and regular rear view mirrors. One thing I noticed about the Red mirror GT motel was the flares in front of the rear fender. Three dots lits.. kind of cool.. Never seen that before.. anyone know what they are for?

I was wondering about the same thing (to do with the lights on the rear quarter). I wonder if they are brake lights so the crowd can see who is braking latest or something?

The lights indicate first, second and third place in class. One lit light denotes the class leader, while two lit lights indicate the car that is running second in class. When all three lights are illuminated, the car carrying the lights is the third-place car. Each class gets different colored lights, so in the case of the GT2 class which the E92 is in, they get the yellow lights.

Saw the cars when they were in town for the MillerMotorSports Park race. They even brought the show car to my dealership. Such beautiful cars!
