pfc01 vs rs19?
at double the price, and no headaches to read about, the pagids seem to be the way to go.
im coming off of HP+ pads, which were ok, didnt fade too bad, but are noisy as hell. im sure both of these are even louder, yes? need to buy today to get ready for pocono next weekend, any recommendations? Thanks! |

My only experienc besides the OEM is with the RS19s: yes they are also loud as he'll in regular driving but after 7+ track days on them, I already know that I will buy another set when these will be toast.
A lot of bite, great feel and no fade for me after 25 minutes.

Been running the rs29's, which I think is more of an enduro rs19, and loved them. Got about 8 events out of them and was quite pleased.

8 events doesn't sound very good. Can you provide any detail on how much you are using the brakes during these 8 events?
If a set of Brembo GT brakes are bedded in with the Ferodo DS2500 pads will there be any compatibility issues with the RS19 or RS29 for track use only? Also, do the Pagid pads require any additional bedding?

Sounds good.. I'm just trying to make sure that I understand correctly.
From Pagid BRAKE DISCS If possible, pads should be bedded on used but NOT worn out brake discs. Pagid brake pad material can be used either on solid, grooved or cross-drilled discs. For disc bedding please refer to the disc manufacturers’ own instruction. MOUNTING NEW PADS ON USED DISCS Edges of pad surface should be filed roughly to 45 degrees to ensure that the pad carries fully and evenly and is not touching the edge of the disc. Do not use discs, which are pre-bedded, or have been used with friction material other than PAGID. And from Endless Please make sure pads are mounted on clean disks free of contaminants, dirt and friction material if switching to Endless brake pads from a different manufacturer. This can be done by resurfacing the rotor surface. This will ensure the best performance from Endless brake pads. So which is it? It's probably just CYA by the manufacturers but I'd like to confirm that this isn't an issue.
