I may skip this next generation M3 and keep my E92. I might buy a M2 for DD when its released and have the E92 as a weekend toy. So sad

Ohh well. Get ready for the FI world with the M3/M4. When tuners get a hold of those engines look out. I always buy near the end of the production run anyway.

The S65 engine is what makes the e92 m3 special. a tuned up I6 from a 335 is not something I WANT in my M3. Although i understand why BMW is going this way. Even the current M5 and M6 do not make me want one.
I will probs go into Porsche, corvette, or maybe GTR. |

If by "crazy", you mean crappy, laggard, treehugger cars, then I agree; in ten or twenty years, the E9X's will absolutely be viewed as classics of mechanical design and execution.
