Its not as big of an area as yours just a small scrape all the way through the paint down to the raw plastic. Plastic looks a little deformed as well

Ask dealer who they use as most dealers no longer do bodywork...I would ask local ferari dealer if they can recommend a local body shop that they use if they do not use their own specialist...sometimes they will send work to local shops and they are VERY picky...ask what kind of paint wil be sprayed..Glasurit..PPG..how far they will have to blend...ask what kind of post paint work will be done..wet sand etc... If you choose wisely the repair should be undetecable.

Ask what their procedure is. Some just heat/form/blend, I would suggest R&R the entire bumper, repair and repaint it entirely off the vehicle.

I did a spot blend on my AW front bumper to remove plate holes and a few rock chips. It looked OK, but I was not 100% happy with the repair.

I ended up removing the bumper and had a bodyshop respray the entire piece. They matched it as best as they could, and I'm happy enough with the results. In most lights, nobody would notice.

I don't sweat it too much, lots of brand new cars roll off the factory floor with a much bigger mismatch (especially Japanese and Korean cars!).

The only alternative is to blend across the entire car; and that really isn't worth it - you could still end up with a slight variances due to the way paint cures on plastic and the flexing agents used on the bumper.

Not an expert with these things, just relaying recent experiences!

So far I have a really good experience with Center. I brought my M3 there a few time to fix some noises from my car. There's one time that I heard a metal clunking every time I go from hard stop then forward. After I went to Center, they figured out the noise and replaced some parts and able to fix it sooner than I thought. They'll try their best to find the problem and solve them as long as you tell them detailed info. SA Jose is pretty cool and always gives me a nice loaner if no available, he'll give me a rental and takes care of his customers. They always takes car of the car and gives it back clean. I hope they always keep the good service for everyone. So far, I'm pretty satisfied!

OP, pm me a pic of the bumper. Maybe I can offer some assistance on your repair process. A little too much speculation in here on how to paint it seems...

Best of luck.

I stand corrected, this is actually very accurate.

They sent me to enterprise rental for a Mazda 6 series, I even asked for at least a BMW rental and was refused, they are taking care of the repair which is a complete re-spray of the rear bumper, and they did not do the service the car was in for because it was damaged, so now i have to take it back again for service. Pretty sure i'm looking elsewhere for future work

Take it to beverly hills bmw. Use lamar as your SA and Hiep (pronounced hip) as your tech. He tracks too so he knows whats going on. When i went up to meet him he was working on two other modded m3's and he'll actually look over the car rather than say oh, must be the fuel pump and warranty it to make commission.

OP, I understand you're annoyed. It shouldn't have happened, but it did. They took responsibility, get it repaired and move on. Btw, who cares what type of loaner they give you, as long as you have transportation it is irrelevant.
