BMW Tacoma is so terrible I've got the worse service there where I used to take my 5 series there. Never go there

Leased a 335i from BMW Northwest a couple weeks ago and they were great. Drove up from Portland because the local dealers won't deal at all. On the flip side, my local dealer (Kuni BMW) has been great on the service side with my M3 (which I didn't buy there). My SA has been Chris and hes been as on point every time.

I've worked primarily with Karen H. as the Service Adviser, and she's been equally great on addressing issues and communicating. For the most part, the car has been in there for scheduled maintenance, and a couple of minor issues. One of the other SA's was available at first when I went there, and he looked at my key-data and said, "You haven't been driving your M3 very hard. You know that car wants to be pushed." (This was after only 2 months of having it.) I told him, straight-up: "I just missed a Track Day, but have my first one coming up in a week!" He was all "Hammer the car, it can do it." talk. Then, Karen has been fully aware that I track the car, and asks how it's been doing after each track day. There has been no scrutiny, talk of not covering something, or any of that. In fact, there was something worn down with the discs and they went above and beyond on that.

So, my experience has been that the SA's are enthusiastic about the M's and expect/anticipate that they get driven hard.

Ive got into it with BMW Northwest a couple of times. The first was when I bent a wheel (Aftermarket 3 piece wheel). I had just picked the car up and I didnt understand the characteristics of the E90. Every time I braked, the car would shake. So I took the car in for a service. The dealership checked the brakes and told me that if their wrapped, its coming out of my pocket because the car was tracked. The previous owner told me he did not track the car on the factory brakes. Then one of the shitty SAs started telling me how BMW should void my warranty and just kept giving me the worst outcome. Long story short, my wife got hot and posted this drawn out Yelp post about BMW Northwest. When she did that, I had the Service Manager contacted me directly and asked if I would bring the car in and he would personally take a look at it. They balanced my wheels and found a bent wheel. I paid for the wheel balance which was fair, and the wheel shake went away.

The other time I got into it with BMW Northwest was when I was trying to install the PSW V2. I was told I had to have the car coded for the PSW to work with the car. My car has a lot of coding and engine software. I had asked the dealership to look at the install and trouble shoot the PSW because it wasent powering up. They said they did and rebooted my ECU. My car didn't run after that which was expected because all of the engine software was cleared out. My problem was, if BMW would have trouble shot the PSW, they would of came back and told me that the PSW was defected and would of recommended not rebooting my DME. That would of been good customer service, but that didnt happen that time. My car had to be towed about 45 miles to my house (out of pocket). I have my license plate on my tow hook. BMW Northwest told the tow company just to twist the plate to remove it from the bumper. This scratched the hell out of my front bumper. Long story short, Service Manager gave my another personal call and BMW came out of pocket to repair my bumper.

I am a loyal person and try to see the best and deal with the best. Though Im not dealing with the best at BMW Northwest and dont always agree. I respect the Service Manager for trying to manage his personnel as best he can. That's all I can ask for. If BMW Northwest gave a f*ck and would actually trouble shoot and gave sound recommendations, it would save a lot of head aches. So for now, I settling because, If I drive further to get better service and its the same shitty service... I will blow my lid.

Not saying that they did but perhaps they pre-qualified you and treated you poorly due to your young age? Either way, I hope you made out okay

Been going to BMW of North Scottsdale for 5+ years and have no complaints about their service. Think I did get better service at BMW on Camelback but not enough of a difference to justify the 20+ mins extra drive. And none of my BMWs were bought locally either.

I have had excellent service from BMW in the The Woodlands (just north of Houston). Frankie F is courteous, customer oriented, knowledgeable and responsive.

Expensive like all the others

Kidding aside ... I found that I had to try several before finding the right one ... in the Toronto area ... up here in Canada Budd's BMW gets my vote ... they always have the most ///M cars in Inventory and the Techs know there stuff. They actually ask you if you want your car washed at the end of service and when you say "No thank you" they actually do not wash your car and respect your wishes
