Adapative headlight sensor failure
Car said adaptive headlight failure, manual operation of high beams only. Warning went away after a few days, any ideas? Is there a sensor that could get dirty or blocked?

I had the same thing in my X5. A turkey hit my car and cracked the lens cover. Water got in I believe. The headlight assembly was replaced but every now and then I will get that error too and the lights stop swivelling. When I turn the car off it resets. I need to get it back in to them to see whats up.
