Why not go buy an "M" badge and stick it on the trunk. save 20k, and convince yourself its a real M3. wait for it........ J/K. I wish i heard the thoughts of some of you guys when you read that. Okay, on a serious note, the sound of the engine "s65" that breathes so naturally, is like ...... (you fill in the blank). There are to many words to describe the smile that the m3 puts on my face when driven at any speed. I could not imagine ever not buying the M3. Good luck deciding.
p.s. i have driven the 335 |

Will you ever be driving a M3 and see a 335 and say to yourself, damn, I wish I was in a 335?

I came to the realization years ago, that it's not just about making crazy amounts of hp (unless your primary goal is drag racing). I am an enthusiast that truly enjoys a balanced subjective driving experience. As far as looks, there are only two "normal" cars that in my mind look nicer than my M3 coupe. Those are the Aston Martin Vantage and new Porsche Cayman S. And as far as sedans go, I don't think there is amore pleasing and well proportioned shape out there that is nicer than the e90.

Sounds like my car! After finding it, I had a 335 loaner for a couple days and immediately a few things jumped out at me
- M3 leather is nicer, seats are a lot more comfortable. - Engine wise, 335 is all low end torque. M3 has a smoother torque curve and likes to be rev'ed - 335 ride was harsher than the m3. Probably due to the run flats. And I have 19s running 35 psi. - most importantly, I would walk away after parking and think "glad I got the M3" Ultimately it's up to you. I was in the market and was debating between the two. I'm glad I went with the M3 since I've been eyeing a 335 or M3 for a long time. With that being said, there's always newer cars coming out. If I already had a 335 like you I'd probably be eyeing the next generation F30 335/M3/M4. Quote:
