USB and AUX was working now not

Hello,

This question is for my two 335i's - the USB outlet in the center console armrest still charges the phone. And the AUX still works to provide sound, but I used to be able to have the option for USB-iPod in the option, which was nice so I could easily navigate songs.

I purchased new dual USB and AUX adapters for the cars, they worked then stopped. Why? Could this be a fuse that has blown or corrosion on the back side of the pins from either the USB or AUX-in connection points?

I ordered new quality AUX cables, but I would like to solve this and revert back to how I once could have the option of USB-iPod, etc.

Any luck with this? Mine charges but doesn’t play sound.

Hello, Yes solved -

I purchased a new BMW OEM iPhone harness withing a lighting connector from ECS Tuning, it was not cheap...$100 - But it solved the issue and the music plays perfectly, with proper song and artist identification on display too.
