53 hours book time for remove and rebuild, 30 ish hours to yank the head. It is a deal for someone who is willing to buy it and yank the head themselves and/or strip down for a race car anyways. Or someone who wants an E9x M3 and put in hot cams.

I've seen one of these throw a rod in a friends car with 22k kms. I do not see the point in paying $40-50-60k for these cars when many need to be rebuilt sooner or later.

Don’t know who’s paying 60k for these cars, send them my way though if you do! Not to rain on your parade but why buy a 20k car with a bad engine when there’s many of them for sale for 20–30k?
