I bought Avant Guarde replica 19x9 18 and 19x10 25, tire sizes are 255/35/19
285/30/19 Continentals 5P. Front wheels rub the liners pretty bad during turning, say even at 20% of wheel turn it will start to rub... is this normal, what do I do??? This bothers me.

I had those wheels on my last M3 with 255/35-19 up front, lowered on Dinan and didn't rub. No spacers. The guy I sold them to reported that he got some minor rubbing on full lock w/same size. Not sure what suspension he has.

I wonder if there are inconsistencies with liners. You're not alone, a lot of guys have some rubbing with the 255/35's up front. You could go to 245's up front, not ideal but doable. Sorry, not much help...good luck.

The fitment with 255/35 is so tight that rubbing is dependent on the geometry of the individual tire. Switch back to 245/35 or go to 265/30 to prevent rubbing.

Also, are you on the stock suspension?

stock suspension, EDC, just had a new allingment done... I'm quite pissed to be honest. Rubbing got especially bad at the track, tires heated up and expanded... certainly I lowered the pressure, but at 41psi I don't think it should be that bad.... these are $600 tires, I don't want to shell out this much again...

Would spacers help??? I was thinking about dinan stage 1 or 2, would that help?

Given that you're at ET18 with the wheel on its own, a spacer would likely be counterproductive. That lower offset is the equivalent of having a spacer already. The Dinan kits lower the car, and also advertise increased suspension travel. So that lets the wheel travel even further up into the fender well, likely adding more rubbing if anything.

Do you know what your alignment specs were when you had the alignment done? If you are able to get more negative camber, that might help a little.

You could also check the fender liner, and see if you can trim any of the areas that are rubbing.

Other than that, I think changing back to a 245 is your most likely solution.

The E9x M3 has unfortunately tiny front fender liners and there is really no room for error in tire sizing and placement. Even OE ZCP wheel and tire setups have rubbed the liners slightly from time to time depending on alignment and spacer combination because there is just so little space available.

The 255/35 tires you have are 1.1% taller than the OE 245/35 tire. More than likely no combination of spacer or alignment will completely alleviate rubbing issues as a result. I'd say the best choice is to go down to a smaller tire sidewall profile.

Go to 265/30. Slightly smaller tire and a few mm less on a diagonal than even the stock 245. This should eliminate rubbing and give you a factory size stagger. Will be a pretty short sidewall, however. This is why, when all is said and done, after hours and hours of research, measurements on my car, and math calculations, I have decided on the following:

18x9.5 et22 Apex EC7 wheels with 265/35/18 Michelin PSS tires (front)
18x10.5 et27 Apex EC7 wheels with 285/35/18 Michelin PSS tires (rear)

This will give a perfect fit with no rubbing and no spacers. It will have the proper front/rear stagger, is relatively light weight, will give me a better ride and better handling.

Now just gotta wait for the wheels to become available. Hopefully next month !!!

And, yes, I am going from 19" to 18". The above 18" set-up has just too may benefits to pass for the very slightly better looking ZCP 19's (even that is debatable)

100% this! tire is too tall. i have 245/35/19 et22 on my front no rubbing. factory suspension.
